Lex Barrie

Plump and thick

Sugar sweet

Sticky mess

Dripping slow,

I see you there but then you’re gone.

Tired eyes

I fall asleep,

In the dough of my bed.

You’re face is a memory,

Not far gone

But since you’re in my head,

Let’s have a little fun.

My name is warm caramel,

Soaked deep into your lips.

And you, my dear, are cotton candy,

Sugar on a high.

Hot and thick

Sugar sweet

Of love and hope, I long to eat.

Plump and strong,

Sweet and wrong.

My favorite dreams,

They’re always about you.
