Life is full of them.
We feel the constant need to wonder and to think and yet do we really know?
Most of the time we don’t.
Humans ask questions in order to stabilize themselves. Asking a question can make you feel less anxious about the situation that you are about to enter or it can simply give you the information you need to succeed in the moment.
It is always important to ask questions.
I went to the University Fair today at the Metro Convention Center in the heart of downtown Toronto. There were hundreds of people standing in line or looking in the viewbooks. It felt exciting but also rather nerve racking. I knew which universities I would like to look at and I knew the ones that I would not.
My aunt came with me and we wandered around for about 25-30 minutes collecting everything we needed. I have said many times in these blogs that I don’t know what I want to do with my life and to be honest that is still the case.
But recently a friend reminded me that choosing your career path doesn’t have to be stressful. It is fun to think of the future and what it will bring. You don’t necessarily have to know what you want from life. You sort of just have to let it all run it’s course.
I figure at this point that I am going to have more than one career in my life, probably at more than one university.
So the real question is, where do I go first?
