This marks the 50th day of this blog and what a trip it has been. On the 8th of October, I will mark the second month of this little journey with something else fun. But for now, I want to talk about a little promise I made.

I said 10 days ago that I would be deciding on a theme for this blog. The truth is I have been feeling that these last couple of weeks have been just a random display and I wanted to make this site sound more professional. I have seen others blogs talking about makeup and clothing and D.I.Y. home renovations. But the truth is, that I want to start with something fresh and new.

For those of you that have been listening to me talk before this blog actually began, you will know that I talked a bit about online art and music therapy sessions. Now, I no longer play and instrument or do much drawing, but the truth is I would still like to help people in any way that I can. This is still a work in progress, so I guess what I am saying is that, no, this blog still does not have a theme.

But that’s okay!

Because instead of a theme, I wanted to add something new to this blog. I have always been a huge fan of books and the library and bookstores have always sort of been my escape from the world. I have decided that slowly but surely this blog is going to feature…drum roll please….

Book reviews!

I have a collection of stories that I have read downstairs and to be honest I have been looking forward to telling people about certain stories that I have read that inspired me. I just didn’t know how to do it until now.

To make it even more of a coincidence, my cousin has recently asked all the “ladies” in my family to start up a book club, so perhaps I will give reviews on the stories we read there.

To say the least, this site at least has a new focus. But this blog will remain for now as a place for my daily thoughts. So come one, come all to the new section (which will be installed shortly) of this site and join on me on the next phase of my writing journey 🙂
